After teaching 4th grade for 21 years in the Seaman School District (on the north side of Topeka), I became an Instructional Technology Specialist in my district last year. My role in this position is to help facilitiate learning with the integration of technology. I have been a lifelong believer of hands-on learning and believe that when working with groups of students, we need to provide a variety of learning opportunities for them. After attending the Bee-Bot presentation at the MACE conference, I was very excited about the possibilities that Bee-Bots held in both of these areas. I work with four of our eight elementary schools and work with both students and teachers and look forward to sharing Bee-Bots with them.
I can finally post photos. With my Mac, what I have to do is open the photo in Preview and save it in the lowest quality level possible. I then am able to upload photos.
